TETE activities included a series of seminars with government officials from all levels across Canada and the EU, and substantive policy workshops with leading Canadian and European experts on trade, environment and technology issues. Seminars Ottawa and Brussels helped to develop greater knowledge and awareness of regulatory systems in Canada and the EU. Workshops in cities across Canada brought together provincial and federal government officials, leading academics, as well as business, consumer and other stakeholders, in order to collaboratively generate concrete strategies for managing interfaces among trade, environment and technology policies in the context of the CETA negotiations.
